This Makerspace is Dedicated to all the Builders, Makers, Tinkerers, Hobbyist, Craftspeople, Creators, and Dream Chasers of all ages to prosper under the hand of God.

Following a solid foundation in Judeo Christian biblical worldview creating an environment of appreciation for the Hand of Providence and the Patriotic freedoms we enjoy. 1st Maker Bn is intended to be a location for a wide range of ministry opportunities beyond traditional organizations. Who

A Membership based Non Profit workshop, 1st Maker Battalion is open to everyone, but Focuses on the primary mission of providing a Location for Disabled Combat Veterans, First Responders, and the active Retired community to collaborate with other creative and skilled people to Make things, make better things, and make things better.

1st Maker Battalion provides Low cost access to industry-standard equipment lowering the barriers to entry for Makers with New Product development ideas to create strong viable products and companies to create jobs and strengthen the community.

1st Maker Battalion will gather the equipment and resources at a Facility in St Tammany Parish Louisiana to accomplish this.

1st Maker Battalion will be focused on an older, more experienced demographic. Retired people from a wide range of industries have a tremendous amount of knowledge and a willingness to share, along with combat veterans and first responders who have a desire to serve others. My intent is to provide resources that convert talent and great ideas into prototypes, products, and companies, but most importantly, this makerspace creates community and collaboration like nothing else.
